Open Call: Curator Proposals

Grounded in conceptualization and execution of events that strengthen the contemporary art environment in Miami. EZ seeks to make contemporary art accessible, to engage audiences and to create a focal point for international research and awareness.

Edge Zones is an artist and volunteer run contemporary arts non-profit dedicated to the research, conceptualization and execution of events that strengthen the contemporary art environment in Miami. EZ seeks to serve as a laboratory for creative exploration, and to offer a space where audiences can witness the creative process as it unfolds.  Our AIR program is part of EZ commitment to assist local artists from diverse economic, social, and cultural backgrounds in their creative production and disseminating their professional development in national and international forums.

We are looking for curators who are looking to amplify the Miami art environment. We are looking for curators who have a clear vision of the purpose of the show and seek out artists who are producing work with the intention. Our space lends itself to a variety of mediums but we are seeking to have work on exhibition. Curators will be given a $1000 as artist fee as well as  exhibition/ production budget generally ranging around $500.

If you have a project outside of this time frame we are open to hearing about it!

We look forward to reviewing your submissions.
